Endurance GB Rides

for an explanation of the types of rides (PR=Pleasure Ride, GER=Graded Endurance Ride).

for details of all Endurance GB National Rides.

for access to all EGB Groups for details of Group Social Rides open to non members, members and associate members.

IMPORTANT

Due to the current equine flu outbreak in the country LREGB have had to introduce a temporary restriction on which horses can attend our rides.

Please download the document alongside for full details.

Unfortunately we can only accept entries for horses that have completed a course of vaccinations.

This means that they must have received two primary vaccinations which are given not less than 21 days and not more than 92 days apart. There must then be 7 clear days after the second vaccination before you can attend a ride.

If sufficient time has elapsed the horse must then have received a booster vaccination not less than 150 days but within 7 months after the second primary vaccination, and within 12 months thereafter.

These are the normal rules for a course of vaccinations.

Please note, we will be accepting horses that have had both of their primary vaccinations but not yet had a booster but sadly we cannot accept horses that have had only their first primary vaccination.

Can all riders who enter a ride email a photo or photocopy of the vaccination record to the ride organiser (Sheila Creasey in the case of our Group Social Rides) and it is essential that you take the passport with you to the ride as it will be checked before you are allowed to unload your horses.

Anyone who has entered a ride that can now not attend for this reason can get a full refund.

We hope this will be just a short term precaution and the rides will soon be back to normal.

We recognise this will cause inconvenience but the welfare of all our horses is paramount.

for any further news.

Venue: Park Farm, Cold Ashby Road, Stanford on Avon, Northampton NN6 6JS

Park Farm is set in just over 1,600 acres of beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, a traditional arable farm growing a variety of crops. Large areas are given over to environmental projects.
There are several diverse habitats, including semi-ancient woodlands, spinneys, grassland, hedges, ponds, a canal and a disused railway line. These habitats encourage a wide variety of wildlife, flora and fauna such as foxes, badgers, woodpeckers, kestrels, sparrow hawks, buzzards, hares and deer.
The farm is home to many endangered birds, such as the tree sparrow and several rare moths and butterflies.
Spectacular views can be enjoyed from the Hemplow and Downtown Hills.

Park Farm has two off-road courses of 8½ and 3½ miles.
We will therefore be offering 8½, 12 and 17 mile routes.
We will provide mock vetting at the end and halfway on the 17 mile route, if required.
